For those interested in travel to Nigeria, obtaining a Nigeria Visa is an important consideration. There are several states which may be used for traveling purposes. Those wanting to visit the country has to first obtain a Visa in the Department of Immigration and then submit it for processing to the right authority. Visitors who are from visa free countries shouldn't obtain a visa.

Generally, foreigners that aren't in the country for six months or less are qualified for a visa. But, all visitors should hold a valid passport valid for six months from the date of program. Those holding passports from Visa Waiver countries like United States of America have been required to obtain a visa from the Department of Immigration prior to their departure. The process is often very simple and requires less than five minutes.

The process of obtaining a Visa for seeing the nation is quite straightforward. For example, when applying for a visa, foreigners should have a copy of their passports. There may also be certain requirements that will need to be met in order for a Visa.

After submitting all of the basic requirements, applicants may expect their application to be assessed within per week. Those applying are expected to provide their advice so as to expedite the application. Upon approval of the program, the person will get their visa within five days. Once the Visa was issued, the person will have to apply for a residence permit prior to their real entry into the country.

When the Visa is issued, there are a couple factors which could influence the amount of time the visa holder must spend in the nation. If the Visa holder plans on traveling abroad after having applied for a residence permit, there is a requirement he or she will be required to depart the nation at least fourteen days prior to their intended departure date. This condition applies even when the individual isn't intending to leave the country and does not intend to travel abroad. Those who intend to travel abroad should consider postponing their visa application until there is still ample time available. The delay will allow the applicant time to explore the many different options of traveling to the country.

Along with visa requirements, it's likely to get an worldwide Passport, which also acts as a legitimate form of identification and proof of identity whilst staying in the nation. Although it is also possible to get a Temporary Residence permit, most foreigners don't. Be able to obtain a permanent residency. It's necessary to apply for a Residence permit within the first year of your intended stay to be certain you have a long-term stay in the country. For those wanting to become qualified for a permanent residency, they should also apply for a Permanent Residence card before leaving.
